People Place Program Gathering

The People Place Program ("PPP") Gathering's purpose is to bring more volunteers into the work of the church -- creating a true community of action within our congregation. Members and friends are encouraged to select at least one "P Area" in which to contribute your time and talent to our community.

The People Area mission is to promote spiritual growth and vibrant community at the BisMan UU Fellowship and Church by providing our congregation with spiritual support and opportunities for community engagement and fellowship. Specifically, we collaborate to develop and deepen our congregation's approach to hospitality, greeting, membership, caring and social justice.

The People Area has also developed an Emergency Information form that will assist the congregation in providing care and support for you and your family in case of an emergency. Click HERE to view and print the form.

The Place Area Vision Statement is Providing a safe, secure, and aesthetically-pleasing physical environment for both children and adults within our congregation and ensuring that our physical space meets our growing spiritual needs.

The Program Area includes crafting the order of service, coordinating or performing music, facilitating, presenting, and technical assistance. If you want to learn a new skill, such as running the sound system, or making podcasts, then the Program Area is a great place to join. The Program Area also sets the direction of the ministry of the church. What topics will be discussed and presented on in Sunday services, what part of the wider world we bring into our church every Sunday, what values are promoted from the pulpit; these are also part of the mission and work of the Program Area. Program Area needs volunteers of all types. Those who are detail and task oriented. Those who wish to shape the vision of our ministry. It is working with people. It is working with things. It is working with ideas.

PPP gatherings meet on the 3rd Wednesday monthly at 5:30 pm for meal and 6:00 pm for meeting. If you are interested in finding out more about the work of our church and our "PPP" Gatherings, call or email the church office: 701.223.6788 or office@bismanuu.org
