Our Children’s RE curricula is from Tapestry of Faith. It is designed to nurture Unitarian Universalist identity, spiritual growth, a transforming faith, and vital communities of justice and love.

Spirit Play Room (Nursery):  Our Spirit Play Room is supervised and offers a loving, nurturing environment for those children three or so and younger.

In our classrooms, we use the UUA developed curriculum, Tapestry of Faith. Tapestry of Faith is a series of programs and resources for all ages that nurture Unitarian Universalist identity, spiritual growth, a transforming faith, and vital communities of justice and love. These resources are being developed out of a broad series of conversations that articulated a future direction for Unitarian Universalist religious growth and learning and denomination-wide focus groups which helped shape a program that would offer a variety of resources—downloadable, printed, viewable, interactive, and more—a religious growth and learning program for the twenty-first century.

Religious education for children in pre-school or older is offered September through May. We encourage all children to join the congregation for the start of the service. After opening words, our chalice lighting, a song and a story for all ages, the children are sung out to their classrooms by the congregation.

There are no children's programs during the summer months. Our staff and volunteers take a much-needed break and begin preparations for the next regular service year.
