The Women's Marches that took place around the world on January 22 were a powerful manifestation of women's power. International Women's Day dates back to the 1900s with roots in the labor movements. Today the holiday continues to address existing inequalities among the genders while recognizing and celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. Join us for a panel discussion of the diverse contributions international women in our community have made to help empower other women and bring positive long-term change to North Dakota and beyond.
