The voices of Indigenous women locally and globally are transforming politics, families, and culture. Here on the Great Plains, Indigenous women have risen up to advocate for better protections for Missing & Murdered Indigenous Relatives – and are showing (and reminding) others how to bring holistic values into the public sphere. Sandra Bercier, executive director of First Nations Women's Alliance, has spent much of her life advocating for Indigenous women, women in general, and humankind. She will discuss her own journey to find her voice and will lift up the voices that give her strength.
