The Promise and Practice of Our Faith

In Honor of Black History Month

Imagine what our faith would look like if we upheld and centered the history, the perspectives, the voices, and the leadership of Black Lives of Unitarian Universalists. This Sunday, in partnership with UU congregations across the country, we will deepen our understanding of the contributions of Black people to our faith tradition – as well as the ways our tradition has tried and failed and tried again to keep decades-old promises to Black lives. As part of our congregation’s commitment to dismantling racism and white supremacy, we will take a special collection to benefit Black Lives of Unitarian Universalism this Sunday.
